Support a Child's Fight Against Bullying

Tuesday afternoon, my 13-year-old son was attacked just steps from our driveway. Three boys—who shouldn’t have even gotten off at his bus stop—chased him down, began hitting him, said vulgar,

dehumanizing things, and recorded it. Then shared the video like it was a joke.

They broke his glasses & damaged his braces.

This wasn’t “kids being kids.” This was violence. And it’s not okay.

This isn’t about revenge. This is about justice—for my son, and for those three boys who need to learn what accountability looks like while they’re still young enough for it to matter. Because one day, the consequences won’t be juvenile.

This is about setting an example—advocating, standing up, and teaching our youth that there are consequences. That violence isn’t strength. That accountability matters.

Let’s raise our voices the right way. Let’s teach them before it’s too late.

The money will help replace and fix the personal items that were damaged during the attack on my son. Beyond that, any remaining funds will go toward legal fees.

I’ve never walked through something like this before. I don’t know exactly know what it will cost or what all is ahead—we’re stepping into the unknown. But I’m doing everything I can to make sure my son has support and that we’re able to pursue justice the right way.
