Support a Childcare Teacher and Family After House Fire
Donation protected
On Monday, July 29th, around 11:00AM, I was working my normal shift as a childcare teacher and during my shift I was notified that my home was on fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters were spraying my home with water to stop the fire.My home had been badly damaged.
Between the fire damage, water damage, and demolition to put out the fire by the firefighters the home has been rendered unlivable until repairs are completed.
Thank God no one was harmed, the animals were saved, and the firefighters were able to get there as soon as they did.
I have custody of my two nephews and one niece, which makes this situation a lot more difficult to manage.
Unfortunately, we still lost furniture, food, and have structural, electrical, and other home repairs required if we make the home livable again. I am also losing time from work trying to figure everything out.
We aren't sure of the cost of everything yet, or how much we will be able to raise, so we aren't sure if we will make the repairs or if we will find somewhere else to go on a more permanent basis. No matter what the answer is we still must replace furniture and personal belongings, and being displaced is very expensive unexpected expense.
Please, if you can, we are asking for help with funds and prayers to help with having a place to live, food, and required personal belongings. We appreciate anything you can do to help.
I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read this and donate. God bless.
