Support a Caregiver's Family in Crisis

I take care of my elderly parents. My kids and I live with them. They have a lot of medical conditions that are worsening and require a lot of care. While my mom was in the hospital, our neighbor’s very large oak tree fell in our house during hurricane Beryl. My children and I were very blessed to escape injury. Insurance says it will cost more to fix than the house is worth. I’m short on funds because I work from home so that I can care for my parents, so I barely make enough to cover our needs as it is, but I’ve had to miss quite a bit of work during all this. We are currently at a hotel and trying to make it work.

Here is where I need help. Our only car broke down in the middle of this. The only reimbursement money we’ve gotten so far is the $750 grocery replacement check. The car repairs are around $1300 plus the rental car I needed to get my parents to doctor appointments.

If anyone can donate anything to get my car fixed it would be a massive blessing to us right now. We’ve been trying so hard to figure it all out on our own but it’s piling on at a rate I can’t keep up with. I attached a picture of the auto shop bill. Thank you so much
