My name is Lindsay - I am a mother of three children and health care provider here in Brooklyn. I am fundraising for a dear friend in our Cobble Hill community who is in crisis and needs emergency financial support for groceries, diapers, to pay bills and for legal representation. She is a stay-at-home mother with three young children and over night has become a solo parent. Over the course of the past few days her seemingly stable life has become unsafe and very unstable. Due to the nature of the circumstances, I can not share details or her identity. I am hoping that with the support of the community we can help her through these first few weeks as we try to put together the puzzle pieces of her future.
