Support a brilliant student from Haiti
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
My friend Sabrina and I are fundraising to help support the CEGEP tuition fees and living expenses of a brilliant young man from Haiti with a dream. Despite humble beginnings and being raised by parents who are primarily creole speaking and have struggled financially, Esperando has excelled in one of the top French-taught private schools in Haiti, thanks to a full scholarship granted by Sabrina’s family. His mother, a nanny, is a very strong woman who pushed her son to work hard and aspire to excellence. These values are reflected in Esperando by his manners, dedication and character.
Today, Esperando has dreams of his own and would like to pursue a career in finance. We have encouraged him to apply in Quebec, and without surprise, he was accepted to his program of choice. We will help Esperando financially and in other aspects to be able to start CEGEP and hopefully thrive in his future career. However, we will not be able to support the entire cost of his studies and living expenses. Esperando would appreciate any contribution you may make.
Please donate to this campaign and feel free to reach out to Sabrina and me on how we can best help him together. In creole we say: "Sé grèn diri ka plen sak diri," which is translated literally as "It is with grains of rice that we fill a bag of rice." Thank you for your generosity.
