I'm a recovering cancer patient, currently in remission from stage 4 cancer. I've run into a bad spot and, due to unfortunate events, I lost my job. I've had this sweet girl since she was 1; she's now 11 and has gone everywhere with me. Upon losing my job, I unfortunately cannot make rent. I'm actively looking for work, getting callbacks, and going to job interviews, but it's not enough in enough time, and I'm truly scared of not only losing my place to live but also that it would mean putting my sweet girl in a shelter since I have no one that can take her.

I've never asked for a handout; I'm an extremely hard-working girl feeling like I'm carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. Through the sleepless nights filled with worry and all the stress and anxiety that comes with it, all I do is worry about what would happen to my girl.

I'm asking for help till I get back on my feet because I am at a loss. If you can find it in your heart to help with even the smallest amount, I would be truly grateful. The money will strictly go to rent, which is $900, cat food, and a little food for me.
