A Mother Is Crying for Help – Let’s Be Her Lifeline

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I’m asking—begging—for your help.

A woman I love dearly is in crisis. She’s a mother to two sons—one a teenager, the other still a young boy. She’s 460+ days sober from meth and has been fighting like hell to stay that way. She’s done everything right, slowly rebuilding her life piece by piece.

Just recently, she moved into her very first home after years of instability. But instead of peace, she’s surrounded by pain.

She lost her dad—her best friend—not long ago. And it shattered her. The grief, on top of everything else, has become almost unbearable. She’s now battling depression, serious kidney issues, and barely scraping by without food or the medication she needs to survive. She has no insurance. She was denied assistance because she “makes too much”—yet can’t even afford groceries.

She told me she feels like she’s breaking. That she’s doing everything she can to stay strong for her boys, but she’s exhausted. Her body is tired. Her spirit is hurting.

And she’s scared.

So am I.
