A Brave Mother’s Battle with Aggressive Breast Cancer
Thank you for taking a moment to read this. This GoFundMe is for a 35-year-old single mother whose world revolves entirely around her two boys, a bright and sensitive 7-year-old and a 6-month-old baby who reaches for her every time she walks into the room. She is their comfort their stability, their whole sense of home.
She has spent her life working hard, showing up, and doing everything she could to give her children love, safety, and a future.
For more than eleven years, she worked in the transportation industry as a freight broker, showing up every day with dedication, pride, and determination to give her children the best life possible. But at four months pregnant, she was suddenly laid off during a wave of industry-wide cuts. She stayed hopeful, held her growing belly, and refusing to crumble because her boys needed her.
And just when she believed things might finally settle, her world changed with one sentence she never imagined hearing.
She has been diagnosed with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer. It is the kind of diagnosis that shakes your world in an instant. One moment she was adjusting to life with a newborn and a first grader, and the next she was meeting with oncologists and preparing for months of chemotherapy.
She begins her first chemo treatment soon. After that, she will continue treatment for six months while doctors run tests and determine the best surgical plan.
Right now, she simply cannot work. Her days are filled with appointments, treatments, and doing her best to keep life as normal as possible for her boys. Her oldest is old enough to sense something is wrong, and her baby needs her constantly. She is doing everything she can to stay strong and present, but the financial weight is becoming overwhelming.
Rent, utilities, medical bills, groceries, transportation, and even basic needs like diapers continue to arrive, no matter how hard she tries to keep up.
This is why we are asking for help. Your support will allow her to keep a stable, loving home for her children and cover essential bills while she is in treatment. It will also help with medical expenses and transportation to appointments. Most importantly, it will give her the chance to focus on healing without the fear of losing everything she has worked so hard to provide for her boys.
She is a warm, kind, devoted mother who has always tried to do everything on her own. Asking for help is not easy for her, but right now it is necessary.
Every donation truly makes a difference.
Whether you choose to contribute or simply share her story, your kindness will help carry her through one of the most challenging moments of her life.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for caring, thank you for reading, and thank you for standing with her and her boys during this difficult time. ❤️
