So, I’ve never had to do this before, but this is all new to us. I recently had baby boy #4 on August 23, 2024. He was in the NICU and children's unit for the first 2 weeks of his life. He was born with spina bifida, and the day he was born, he already had to have surgery to close his myelomeningocele. He then had to get brain surgery, a procedure called an ETV as he developed hydrocephalus. So, he has already been through a lot in his short life. He already has multiple appointments a week and is being treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has physical therapy, occupational therapy, sees a neurologist, sees plastic surgery, and sees a urologist as he has to be catheterized twice daily. So, we use a lot of gas going back and forth and have to pay $15 a day for parking. They do not validate parking but do have parking passes you’re able to buy that give a slight discount, like 5 passes for $35 or 10 passes for $70. We are asking for help with all the extra cost this is causing us plus we have 3 other boys as well, and it’s taking a toll on us financially. Two of our sons birthdays are this month, the 17th and the 19th, yes 2 days apart and they’re milestone birthdays turning 18 and 10, unfortunately we can’t afford much for them not even a party for our 10 year old, he’s growing up and is so sweet and understanding that all he asked for was a haircut and perm cuz he wants curly hair to style and wants to go to dinner and somewhere fun. Christmas is around the corner and we can’t seem to keep up with everything right now along with bills and car repairs. Anything would be greatly appreciated, and I thank anyone who cares to donate. We also appreciate prayers for our family. This is going to be an ongoing process throughout his whole life with many more appointments and surgeries.
