I am humbly reaching out you all on the behalf of a dear loved one who is struggling with financial burden as well as an ongoing mental health battle. She wishes to keep her identity anonymous, but for the purpose of this GoFundMe we will refer to her as Abby.
Abby is one of the strongest, most selfless people I know. She constantly looks out for and provides for her family, friends, and truthfully anyone who may need it - now it's our turn to show her the same love in return.
In October 2019, Abby endured a major depressive breakdown which put her into a financial hole. She subsequently lost her home, which as you can imagine, only brought about an even more grueling fight against depression. Furthermore, Abby suffers from ADHD and anxiety, which she attends therapy 4-5 times/week for.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Abby is currently out of work and actively looking but has had no luck with finding a new job or with receiving her unemployment benefits that have been pending for well over 2 months.
With zero income, debt piling up, and weekly medical expenses, it's safe to say Abby is in dire need of your support. She's soon to be 26 years old and will also lose her insurance when the time comes.
We are hoping to fundraise enough money to cover her medical expenses (medication for anxiety, depression, and ADHD (paid out of pocket) + $200/week for therapy)), basic necessities (food, gas, etc.), as well as her monthly bills ($2,000+/month).
