Black trans mutual aid community member is in urgent need of financial support. This person wishes to remain anonymous due to their housing and current work situation. They lost their job in Fall of last year and have not been able to secure any long-term work outside of unsafe gigs, which are unsustainable. Since then, they have been battling a lot of life stressors, both personally and dealing with national and state policies, especially with the increased cost of living and state repression. They have not been able to take proper care of themselves and have since incurred some serious health issues that have added to the mounting list of unmet needs. They are currently more than three months behind on rent and legal fees, and facing eviction after receiving two notices to vacate. They were denied EBT services due to a lack of accepted documents and are currently in the process of trying to reapply. Their financial unemployment benefits ended in mid-May.

While they are still applying to jobs daily, they need interim financial support to pay off debts in order to survive on a daily basis. They recently graduated school and are in need of funds to payback tuition and pay for licensing fees. In a climate where BIPOC and queer people who are facing increased discriminations and the revoking of rights and protections, this person is facing a lot of hurdles to be able to sustain themselves emotionally and physically in addition to the unmet financial needs. Any support helps keep them housed and takes some stress away so they can heal and continue to show up for themselves and the community.

Currently, the ask for funds will go towards:
* Back rent + current rent ($7,028.69 as of 06/01/2025)
* Utilities (Electric $730.15, and Gas $325.80 as of 06/01/2025)
* Cat supplies (food and litter for two cats)
* Life sustainability needs (food, water, hygiene, etc)
* Healthcare (mental health, hormone treatments, medical + dental needs)

Other needs that are less life-threatening but necessary:
* Owed tuition for recent degree ($1,589)
* State licensing exam fees for jobs ($135)

Thank you for any kind of support you are able to provide! Feel free to boost and share!
