Hi, I'm Yanna a 25-year old freelancer who has fallen deeply in love with storytelling and animation. I am raising money to further my education outside of youtube videos and hands-on learning. I explore conversations such as mental health and queer identity in my art by using 2D frame by frame, Motion graphics, and Stop Motion. 

I started animating on a broken Ipad and now 2 years later I've upgraded to a Wacom - Cintiq 16. I've accomplished cool milestones up to this point without mentorship or guidance in this industry. Such as becoming verified on Giphy with 30.5 million views in counting to being featured in Hypebeast for an animated music video. I have worked with a range of talented and lovely businesses. I am blessed.

I would love to dedicate 4 months to learning and furthering my education. I have done an immense amount of research and have found alternative educational programs outside of the traditional college experience. Since COVID I have applied for a number of full-time design jobs but I have been turned away because I don't have a degree or agency experience. I will not let this limit or stop me. I have put my entire heart into my art and my craft but I am ready to take my career to the next level with the help and support of you all.

The funds will go to : 
-paying for 6 months on the following subscriptions: toon boom, adobe suite, and skillshare and cloud storage
-4 months of rent
-Mo Graph Mentor and Motion Design School courses 
-plugins for after effects (joysticks n sliders)
-a hard drive
