Support a Black Girl Tennis Player trip to US Open

Calling out to my Tribe for your support:

I pray all are in good health and spirit with y’all in these interesting times in the World. I am calling out to my tribe for your support to help make my birthday wish come true. If you have been following me for the last 5 months you know I have been OBSESSED with the sport of TENNIS. I first started playing during high school and casually playing with my Bonus Dad the last 4 years. In March of this year I attended Miami Open, my first Tennis open ever. My life has not been the same since. And I’ve been addicted to playing several times a week now. I found a new passion.

My birthday is September 6th. The US Open (Tennis Grand Slam) in Queens New York falls during the same time (Aug 26-Sept 8th). It would be my wish to be able to attend a game on my 37th bornday. Tickets ain’t cheap ($220 and more). I already purchased my flight. Now I am calling on community to help me connect the dots. So I asking if my friends, family and those who care to support a black girl live her best tennis life to: 1. DONATE money to cover the cost of tickets, travel, food, and lodging, etc. 2. Share ADVICE from those who have attended a US Open in the past. 3. Share CONTACTS of people and organizations in the area who could help make my experience. Or Tennis courts in NYC area to play at while in town.

I have been talking about this for a while to my immediate community and now I am expanding to my larger community for your assistance to make this dream come true and more fulfilling.
