Hi everyone. Thank you for stopping. I want to introduce you to my mom in case you don’t know her story. She has been a teacher for about 40 years, most of that time overseas on military bases with DODEA. She is in the midst of finishing out her career in South Korea, where majority of her time has been spent. Thousands of kids have passed through her classroom, and many of them still carry her lessons and kindness with them today. She has been recognized in Who’s Who Among American Teachers at least twice, and she was preparing to retire this year after a lifetime of giving so much to others. She is a mom of two, a grandmother of five, and a devoted cat mom. She is generous, kind, and always ready to help anyone in need.

Recently, Mom faced a serious medical crisis. She has an incurable lung disease that was mostly stable, but after hip surgery, her condition worsened quickly. She is now on a ventilator and receiving treatment that is showing promising early signs. We are hopeful, but recovery will be long and uncertain.

Even with support from her community and her employer, the upfront costs of her care are significant. While the government will cover much of it, there are still medical bills, travel expenses, everyday bills, and her cats to bring home safely. Donations will help cover these urgent needs and support her on the road to recovery.
