Our dear friend and cherished healthcare worker, Elizabeth McCornell, also known as “Lizzy”, has dedicated her life to helping others as a skilled and compassionate gastroenterology technician. Known for her joyous nature and dedication, she has touched the lives of countless patients and coworkers. As a GI technician, she has spent over 25 years behind the scenes working tirelessly to ensure patients receive the care they need. Her hard work has illuminated the lives of so many. Today, this amazing woman needs our help.

On Sunday, November 17th, Lizzy was a passenger in a devastating and horrific car accident. The impact left her with severe injuries, including a brain injury, spinal neck injury, and multiple rib fractures. Her road to recovery will be long, challenging, and require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and constant support.

Lizzy’s spirit has always been unshakable, but this unexpected tragedy has placed an overwhelming financial strain on her and her loved ones. What makes this even harder is that her family lives far away and is longing to be by her side during this critical time. The costs of flights, accommodation, and daily expenses are significant and have added another layer of stress to an already overwhelming situation. In addition, Lizzy still has her own financial responsibilities that she cannot currently manage at this time.
