I was working as a baker when I became injuread, while my wife who severely fractured her c-2 back in May isn’t able to help us. I’ve never minded working but right now that is impossible and our bills are way past due. Being vegetarian we eat fresh produce, rice and potatoes plus lots of beans. We still have a $38,000 mortgage and about 15,000 in loans and credit card debt. We like every other American have found ourselves living paycheck to paycheck and our social security checks do not meet our financial burdens. My wife and I do not want to lose everything due to our two injuries. Thank you to all who are willing to help two seniors not wanting to lose our home. We have had one of the worst years as last March, two months b4 my wife broke her neck I tripped and both fractured and dislocated my left elbow. Also with my wife’s respitory failure she’s been in and out of the hospital. We use to volunteer twice a year and call that our vacation. But it’s now almost six years since then and instead of dreaming of a volunteer vacation where we would help ppl, we are one one’s needing help. Thank u all for hearing our story.
