Hello, day 18 now with no power. I was very fortunate to have a friend loan me money to purchase this generator, cords, and gas.

I was just informed by Duke Power that my power will not be back on until the tree is removed from my house, the roof is repaired, and it passes electrical inspection.

This is going to take us into December.

I am looking for help to pay back the loan for the generator, extension cords, and $35 a day for gasoline.

I am currently buying 10 gallons a day in gasoline, and it’s getting hard.

We have a 94-year-old mother that lives in our house, which makes it very difficult to move.
