Support Sarah’s Battle with Stage 4 Terminal Uterine Cancer

UPDATE: Huge thanks to everyone who has donated. In light of Sarah’s changing prognosis, it is apparent that the biggest area of need for Sarah and David right now is assistance with living and medical expenses, mortgage payments, meds, groceries, etc. We have been figuring out finances every step of the way, and the realities are more harsh than we originally knew. In light of this, we have switched gears with the fundraising goal.

Unfortunately, we aren’t sure if Sarah will get to take her trip, but the biggest need right now is help keeping them afloat so Sarah can get the care she needs without worrying about finances.

Many of you know that Sarah has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometrial cancer that has spread to her ovaries, lymph nodes, bladder, spine, bowels, and has created lesions on her skull. This is a very aggressive and fast-spreading form of cancer. Without treatment, the doctors gave her less than 6 months of life expectancy. We are all hoping and praying that with chemo, it will slow down the cancer as much as possible to give her as much time as possible here with us. It may give her a year or two and we will take as much as we can get! Sarah has officially started chemo, but it's a rough journey. She's going to fight like hell for as much time as possible, but she needs all the support we can muster and all of the love we can pour into her.

Sarah has been an absolute ROCK for so many people through life, showing up when you need it, and giving to all with the most generous heart I know. She is the type of person that sends you undies because you're running out, no questions asked. It's time for us to give back to Sarah and show her that she has an entire SEA of people who love her, appreciate her, and want to show her the love that she deserves. She has been one of the most supportive people I have in my life, and if you know her, you know she is always there in a heartbeat. Whether she's your friend, Rah Rah, mother figure, family member, or co-worker, she has touched your life in some way with her effervescent and warm personality.
