My brother-in-law has always been a source of strength and comfort for our family. Over the past two years, he was there for us during some of the hardest moments of my life, including caring for my husband/his brother before he passed away from Parkinson’s Disease and supporting us emotionally when my son unexpectedly passed away. He has always put others first, even when facing his own challenges.

Recently, his health has taken a turn. He is preparing for an upcoming heart surgery and, despite being retired after over thirty years as a teacher, he has had to pay out-of-pocket for many of the medical tests required before the procedure. His insurance unfortunately does not cover most of these costs. On top of this, he is on dialysis three times a week, which takes a toll on his energy and well-being. Despite all of this, he continues to help our family in any way he can, never asking for anything in return.

The funds raised will go directly towards his upcoming medical bills and help cover his living expenses during his recovery. Roy has always been there for us, and now I want to be there for him.
