My name is Reem ;and I am from Gaza.
I am a second-year Computer Engineering student with a simple dream: to learn, graduate, and build a future where I can support myself and my family.
But the war changed everything.
My university was destroyed, and the place I used to go to every day is now just a memory. Overnight, my life turned upside down. I found myself trying to continue my education online without a proper environment, without stability, and often without reliable electricity or internet access. Despite all these الظروف, I refused to give up.
Every single day, I hold on to my dream. I study from anywhere I can, using whatever limited resources are available, because I truly believe that education is my only path to a better future — not just for me, but for my entire family.
Today, I am not only fighting to continue my education, but also to protect my family and give us a chance to live in safety. We are a family of five: my mother, my father, my brother Yasser, my sister Rana, and me. Our situation has become extremely difficult, and we are hoping to leave Gaza and find a place where we can live with dignity and security.
The cost to help each person leave is around $9,000, which means we need a total of $45,000 to give our family a chance at a new life.
Your support today is not just financial help — it is hope. It is a chance for me to continue my education, for my family to be safe, and for us to rebuild our lives from the ground up.
Any support, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety, stability, and a future that still feels possible.
Thank you for believing in us.
