Support Phil's Recovery From Unexpected Burn Trauma

We come to you with open hearts and hopeful spirits to share the story of a remarkable man in need of your support. Phil, a loving husband, father, family man, devoted friend, and passionate entrepreneur, has recently endured a devastating burn injury that will require extensive medical treatment. His hospital stay is estimated to be 4- 6 weeks with over a year of treatment and life long journey to recovery. Unfortunately due to the substantial medical expenses exceeding policy coverage and so many more unknowns for his financial future during recovery we are asking for your help. Phil is already fighting the battle of physical and emotional trauma. Let's come together and help relieve some of the financial hardship for him.

On the night of August 30th while at a friend's 50th birthday celebration in Idaho enjoying the company of friends Phil’s life changed. It will be a time in his life he wishes he could forget.

While conversing outside sitting on the patio couch his friend went to ignite a small table top fire pit sitting on the coffee table, the flame comes back up to the bottle and the friend squirts the rubbing alcohol, the next thing Phil realizes his whole body is engulfed in flames. While his wife watches with terror, trying to help get the flames out. He was life flighted to the University of Utah Hospital Burn Intensive Care Unit in Salt Lake City with second and third degree burns.

We have always heard being burned is one the worst traumas and pain our body could go through. Unfortunately Phil is experiencing it, he has a long road to recovery and he is staying positive. As many of you know Phil is finding strength through his faith, wife, family and friends the best he can, although it has not been easy he is staying strong.

Phil and his wife are known for their incredible generosity and love for creating memorable experiences for everyone. They have always opened their home to others to spread joy, offering 5 star dinners, their time and resources to create unforgettable experiences to make others feel special. Phil is also known for giving back to start-up entrepreneurs and businesses, strategizing for their growth and success. Now, it’s time for us to return that kindness and support to Phil during this challenging time.

The severity of Phil's injuries means that his treatment will be both extensive and costly. The medical bills are already mounting, and the road to recovery will be long and arduous. He’ll have multiple surgeries, battled with an infection, a lot of physical therapy and daily wound treatments. (Wound torture is what he calls it.)
