Pat’s partner and care giver, George Bradshaw sadly passed away recently and she now lives alone in her small home in the town of Micanopy, Florida. Confined to a wheel chair for most of her 73 years due to cerebral palsy, Pat has none the less contributed to her community as a Lay Leader for the Methodist Church, member of the Micanopy Historical Society and past president of the Friends of the Library. Members of her community, including town staff are reaching out, but Pat needs immediate help with home care expenses. She is on the list and waiting for government assistance but that has not begun and will not cover all her needs when it does. Her house needs repairs. This request for help is being sponsored by members of the above mentioned organizations that this spunky and courageous woman has been a part of.
