Dear PK9A Community,

Since 2023, K9 Pablo has been a loyal guardian of our streets—tracking the lost, pursuing the dangerous, and serving as a fearless teammate. To us, he isn’t just a police dog; he is a partner and a member of our family.

The Crisis:

Pablo was recently diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis, a life-threatening condition that makes it difficult for him to breathe. The very drive that made him an incredible K9 now puts his life at risk. Because of this, Pablo is being forced into an immediate, unexpected retirement.

Our Mission:

We are asking for your support to help the Police K9 Association achieve two vital goals:

Life-Saving Surgery: To provide the immediate medical care Pablo needs to breathe comfortably and enjoy the retirement he earned.

Continuing the Legacy: To fund the purchase and specialized training of a new K9 partner to continue protecting our neighborhoods in Pablo's absence.

K9s give their loyalty without condition. Now, it is our turn to serve Pablo. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us honor a hero who risked everything for us.
