It is difficult to accurately convey what a wonderful human being Melannie is. She is a shining light and a true friend. Mel is a certified yoga teacher, PADI and SSI Freedive and Scuba instructor, marine biologist, writer and entrepreneur. Everyone who knows her describes her as generous and empathetic soul. She is one of those people who just glows, and has the greatest "vibe".
Melannie has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer with BRCA1 mutation. She is having to make decisions about uncovered costs like reconstruction, fertility, prophylactic ovary removal and incorporation of natural treatments to support her body through chemotherapy and radiation (plus not being able to work as much as she goes through treatment).
