I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for someone very close to me. My dear friend Mei Tolentino, who was my classmate back in elementary school, is now facing one of the hardest battles a mother could go through.

Just recently, her young son began experiencing headaches and seizures. After a series of hospital visits and tests, including an MRI, they received devastating news: he has a brain tumor and needs immediate surgery.

The doctor’s fee alone costs ₱500,000 (Philippine pesos), not including hospital charges and medications. For a single mom who just lost her husband, this is an overwhelming financial burden. Mei has been raising her two children on her own with so much strength and love, but now she needs help.
