My name is Liviier (pronounced liv-e-air), and I’ve gathered us into this cozy corner of the internet to share something deeply personal and long-awaited: I’m having gender-affirming top surgery on June 23, 2025.

This is a dream I’ve held for over 15 years, a desire to align my outer self with my internal truth. It's a step toward absolute embodiment, toward feeling at home in my own body. And I’m asking for your support in helping make this possible.

A little about me:

I’m a community health worker, supporting people impacted by HIV in the Bay Area. My work is rooted in harm reduction, healing justice, and showing up for folks navigating systems that were never designed to protect us. It’s work I love and also work that doesn't come with a safety net due to the current presidential administration and its impact on public health funding.

As I prepare to undergo surgery and take time off to recover, I want to prioritize healing without the added stress of wondering how I’ll make ends meet. Your donation will go directly toward:

• Rent & utilities

• Surgery & after hospital visits, medication copays

• Transportation to and from pre-op/post-op appointments

• Medical supplies for recovery (OTC meds, body wipes, scar care, pillows, etc.)

• Follow-up care like massage, chiropractic support, scar care

• Groceries & day-to-day support while I’m healing

Any unused or extra funds will be paid forward to mutual aid and community care funds supporting other trans folks’ surgical access and healing.
