Alec's mother, Jeannette Tejeras, suffered a sudden stroke and remains in the hospital, unconscious and fighting for her recovery. As anyone who has faced something like this knows, the days that follow are filled with fear, uncertainty, and impossible decisions. Jeannette was taking care of her 86-year-old mother, so now both of those burdens fall on Alec and his young brothers, Noah and Caleb.
With his mother in the hospital, the responsibility now rests entirely on Alec and his brothers' shoulders. Alec and his brothers have stepped up without hesitation, spending their days at the hospital and his nights caring for their grandmother, making sure she is safe, fed, and never alone. But carrying this much comes at a cost. Alec has had to step away from work to be there for the people who need him most. The medical bills are mounting, everyday expenses don't stop, and the financial strain is growing heavier by the day — all while he's trying to hold his family together emotionally.
Every donation helps ease the financial strain so he can focus on what matters most: caring for his mother and grandmother and being there for his family when they need him. To everyone who has donated, shared, or simply kept the Laguna and Tejeras Family in your thoughts — thank you. We are truly overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. This has been an incredibly difficult time, and your support has reminded the Laguna and Tejeras Family that They aren't carrying this burden alone. We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Whether you gave what you could, shared this page, or sent a message of hope, you have made a real difference. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
