WHAT IS KING OF T3MA?

Set in the streets of Tema, KING OF T3MA follows Paa Kwesi, a young man caught between survival and destruction. With his mother dying and a gambling debt looming, he takes a risky job under Tema’s most feared crime boss — setting off a chain of betrayal, power, and heartbreak.

It’s Ghana’s first film of this scale told from the raw, real perspective of the streets — filled with grit, love, and a desire for redemption. Shot independently, KING OF T3MA is not just a movie — it’s become a movement about what African filmmakers can build with vision and courage.
