Help KI Boychicks Softball - Palisades Fire Loss

Hi friends. The Palisades fire has been devastating to so many. More than half of the core of the Kehillat Israel Boychicks softball team has lost their homes and most everything else in the Palisades Fire. You can see many in the photo: Dave "The Wave", Lisa "The Chick in Boychicks", Cliff "Hot Wheels", Chris "#1", Hank the Hammer, Ira "Nice Catch" and Mark "Shindy" have all lost homes and most everything else they owned. Softball season is just starting, and while they should be out shagging balls and legging out doubles, they are looking for housing and buying basic necessities.

Softball has been a big point of joy, community, and belonging for our teammates at KI. Although it's a very small piece of a very large rebuilding effort of property and lives, our team is coordinating an opportunity for our community to help our friends in whatever small ways we can. Please help us create a small fund to replace the uniforms, cleats, gloves, bags, and other equipment lost in the fire so that our time together on the field can be a source of support and healing.
