Hollie’s Tenacity: Support Her Breast Cancer Recovery

Thank you for taking the time, to read and decide on how you might be a big support in Hollie’s Breast Cancer Recovery. So we have this amazing friend Hollie, She’s caring, loving, hard working and if you ask her for help, she’s usually the first one there and the last one to leave. In the last recent months, Hollie and her husband Travis have gone through more tough times in the past years then one should in a lifetime.

This family has over come many battles from the very moment they became a family in August of 2011. In Dec. 2011 Travis was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic leukemia of the bone marrow, with him spending weeks in the hospital at a time. While Travis battled his cancer, Hollie kept working hard to keep an income coming in. Hollie has remained being the provider for the family. She even started her own trucking company in 2020, where she works long hours and is away from home for weeks at a time. Since 2014 Travis had been in and out of the hospital for multiple infection he has gotten over the years.

In 2022, 114 MPH winds took the roof off their home and twisted the house. Still working on getting their house finished.
They again received bad news, this time it was that Travis’s 23 year old daughter committed suicide and left her 5 mo. old daughter behind. This also has become a battle trying to gain custody of their only grandchild since 2023 and it’s still going on.

Which brings us to how Hollie found out she had breast cancer. Hollie was due for her annual mammogram and colonoscopy. S
Only to get the news that the mammogram found something. With multiple doctors appointment and biopsy Hollie managed to keep driving truck up to two days before she had to go in for a double mastectomy with reconstruction in September of 2025. Hollie had complications with the reconstruction, that left her is server pain until November when she had the second part of the reconstruction surgery. Thinking the second surgery would take care of the allergic reaction she was experiencing with the spacer they had put in, nope wrong. Again Hollie had to battle an allergic reaction to the implants they put in this time. Again Hollie suffered with pain and discomfort until she was able to have the implants removed in January. Durning this time from September 2025 to March 2026 Hollie as not been able to drive or provide for her family. Hollie has exhausted all her financial assets trying to make their ends meet. Not knowing that a surgery that should have allowed Hollie to return to work a couple months later turned into 6 months. Hollie was 11 days post surgery when Travis landed himself back in the hospital with a serious staph infection for a couple weeks. Hollie the strong person she is, had to take care of herself. Hollie again landed in the hospital on March 12, 2026 with seroma & cellulitis and has been on IV antibiotics. She is finally at home, on antibiotics hoping that the antibiotics will work and she doesn’t need another procedure.

Due to all of these recent hospitalizations and surgeries, and Hollie has been unable to work to bring in the income to pay the bills. The medical bills have started coming in and we all want to help ease the financial and stressful burden for Hollie and her husband Travis as they have been through enough tough times. Let’s help them ease the burden of their medical bills. THANK YOU!

PLEASE if you are able to provide a gift of love and support, send healing prayers and positive thoughts towards this family. They will be eternally grateful for any financial support you can provide.

Sincerely appreciate
her friends.
