Support Geeta, Neetu, Sheroes through COVID

Dear Friends,
COVID is completely devastating India at the moment. Everyone I know that has some connection to India is grieving the loss of a relative, family or friend.
Because of this situation, I am also deeply concerned for Geeta and Neetu (our two beautiful and inspiring subjects of our film Geeta www.geetafilm.com ) along with many of the other acid attack survivors and staff from Sheroes Hangout that we have got to know over the years.
The cafes they created have been shut down. All survivors have been sent home (many to small villages where the community is not supportive) and are now away from their daily support networks and unable to sort out basic living costs. With the new strain impacting all age groups all of the survivors are very vulnerable.
I am looking for 100 of my contacts to donate between $30-$60 AUD to this campaign to help me send basic food packages/mobile phone credit/masks/and basic medicines to Geeta and Neetu and between 20-28 of their Sheroes friends.
The contributions will most likely be very basic (2,500-3,500 rupees a month per person - $70 AUD) but most importantly will keep everyone fed and connected in the coming of months to help them get through the worst of this situation.
If we can raise $6,000 (300,000 rupees) it will help us supply this basic support for about 2 months to 20-30 of the survivors that normally rely on working full time at the cafes in Lucknow and Agra.
* COVID Support payments - 5,000-7,000 rupees x 30 = 150,000-210,000 rupees ($3000-$4200)
* Emergency response funds (oxygen cylinders, vaccinations, vitamin recovery treatments) - 90,000-150,000 rupees ($1800-$3000)
I have elected to do this call out privately due to the high levels of trauma on social media within the Indian community. Every second post is someone I know pleading for their relatives lives. Some of my closest friends have already lost 6 members of their extended family. If you have some people in your network you think might consider helping please private message them with the link.
