My name is Mohammed Nisman, and I am writing to you from Gaza. I am a husband, a father, and the sole provider for my family. Together with my wife, we are trying to survive and protect our, six-month-old baby girl, under the most challenging conditions imaginable.

The ongoing conflict has taken everything from us except love. Our home, my business, and every single thing we owned have been completely destroyed. We are currently living in a tent. Because, of these severe circumstances, I have no source of income, and my wife’s university education has been indefinitely put on hold.
