Support Elizabeth's Breast Cancer Battle

Our cousin Elizabeth has stage 3 breast cancer and needs our help to pay for the treatments she needs to survive.

Elizabeth has a good chance of survival, but she needs our help; she can't pay for the treatments and surgery on her own. Elizabeth and her family work in a banana plantation in Guatemala, where they have been heavily exposed to cancer-causing pesticides year after year and are not paid enough to afford medical emergencies like Elizabeth’s. Elizabeth has had 3 chemotherapy treatments so far and was hospitalized because the side effects were so bad. She still has 3 more treatments to go and she will need surgery after her chemo is done. Her medical insurance will only cover half of the cost of the chemo and surgery she needs. In total we need to come up with $20,000 and we simply can’t do it alone. We come from a family of hard workers and have been contributing all we can but we have run out of money for her treatments. All we want is to be able to support our cousin. Without these treatments she will not survive, and as her family we know we need to call on our community to help out.
