We are raising funds on behalf of Mikaela and Sharas, who experienced an unimaginable loss on December 18th, 2025 when their 7 year old daughter, Elena Mi'onn'e Briggs passed away following a severe asthma attack a day shy of her 8th birthday. 

This tragedy was sudden and devastating. As they grieve the loss of their child, they are also facing unexpected medical bills, funeral and memorial expenses, and ongoing household costs. This loss has deeply impacted their entire family.

This fundraiser is a call for community support during a time no family should have to navigate alone. The goal is to help relieve immediate financial pressure so Mikaela and Sharas can focus on honoring their daughter’s life and supporting their children through this painful time.

Funds raised will be used for:

• Funeral and memorial service expenses

• Medical bills related to emergency care

• Rent, utilities, food, and essential living expenses

• Support for their remaining children during this transition
