Michael Driskell, my sweet father-in-law, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on August 29th. Since then, he has been in the Surgical ICU at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham receiving care. He has quite a long road ahead of him and will likely remain in Birmingham for the foreseeable future during his recovery and rehabilitation.

His wife, Denise, has remained by his side in Birmingham as well.
