Support Deborah Dean Rivers' Final Wishes
Donation protected

My name is Stanley Hunt. I am raising funds for the home going services of Debra Dean Rivers.
Since birth Deborah has always had a big heart, Literally. she was born with an abnormal sized heart and ever since then she's been at battle with a series of serious cardiac issues. During her journey Deborah would receive a pacemaker, actually two, she received the second one when the batteries ran their course on the first.
As time went on Deborah was placed on the donor list and in line to receive a new heart, as Deborah's name reached the top of the list she was grateful to accept her new heart. Though she needed this heart and it did in fact save her life, it would also add anti rejection medication to her long list of prescribed medications.
Deborah was an extremely strong intelligent woman some would say a "fighter" in terms of the strength she possessed to carry on and navigate through all of these medical related obstacles in her path, Deborah made the best of her situation and still managed to enjoy good times with her loved ones while she was here. Deborah enjoyed movies, concerts and she loved a good bbq with her family around her.
Deborah was a very stylish woman who loved fashion, she was very kind and was always there for her family and loved ones in need. Debra's heart transplant had a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years she exceeded that number by five or six years and she and her family couldn't have been more grateful for such positive results
, however with every procedure there is always complications, towards the end of the transplants life expectancy Deborah would be hospitalized many times for different complications of the transplant, other complications concerning her kidneys as well as different illnesses due to her being Immune Compromised. In the end the doctors decided against a dual transplant procedure as they said they didn't believe her body was strong enough for a kidney transplant and heart transplant at her age.
Deborah Dean 'Rivers transitioned on July 23rd 2024 with her loving daughter daughter by her bedside.
Deborah did have an insurance policy in place but do to her health conditions there was only so much coverage obtainable to her, so as it stands now we are short of being able to fulfill her final wishes.
Deborah Dean Rivers was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. We are about seven thousand dollars short of being able to fulfill her afterlife wishes. If you find it in your heart to help, I and the family would be forever grateful. Anything helps, even a share.
