Help Dayna Recover from Car Accident
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kaylee and I'm fundraising for my sister, Dayna. She is an undergraduate college student in her final year of college pursuing a BFA in Dance. Last week Dayna was in a car accident through no fault of her own. Her car is totaled, she is recovering from injuries, and her financial burdens have increased due to the costs associated with the accident and the impact of missed hours at work. Though she is safe, the accident could have lasting negative consequences for her at this pivotal time in her life, so I am asking for help from the community to support her and ensure that does not happen.
Due to the accident, Dayna is not currently able to work nor is she able to resume her dance training yet because of her injuries. A portion of the money raised here would help Dayna make up for the missed work hours and wages she needs so she can pay her tuition and finish her senior year of college. She is also suffering the physical and emotional consequences of this traumatic accident, so a portion of the funds raised would help her pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses and other costs associated with recovery.
During this time in her career as a student, Dayna needs to be able to perform at her best and she can't do that if she is unable to dance because of the physical injuries from the accident. In short, if Dayna is unable to get the treatment she needs it could have a huge impact on her ability to pursue her career as a dancer that she's worked so tirelessly for over the last four years. Dayna is an artist who has already worked so hard to courageously pursue that which she loves despite so many obstacles. I will always love and support her as best I can with the resources that I have, but I recognize that my financial limitations make it so that I am not able to give her some of the help she needs the most. Dayna is not someone who ever asks for help from anyone, but I know that some financial support would help relieve so much of her burden and result in a speedier, healthier recovery which is what is most important. I appreciate your consideration- thank you!
