DE FOP Official Law Enforcement Memorial Fund

This morning Delaware's Law Enforcement community was horrified to learn that the Delaware Law Enforcement Memorial was vandalized overnight by an ax wielding individual who not only damaged the memorial but urinated on on two flags that were found on the ground. This memorial serves to honor all the men and women who have given their lives for the State of Delaware.
After speaking with State President Fred Calhoun it was decided that we would raise money to repair/replace the damaged memorial. Any and all funds raised will be given to the Delaware State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police and earmarked for repairs to the memorial, proper flag disposal and replacement and to address any other maintenance needs for the memorial. Any extra funds that are raised will be used to purchase cameras and to provide the necessary on-going maintenance needs for this memorial.
This act of violence against our fallen law enforcement officers and their families was done in a manner to send a message. This message has been received by ALL of law enforcement and their supporters and we are united in ensuring that this memorial and all that it represents will be present in the years to come.
