A Mother and Son in Need of Support

In 2020, our lives changed forever when I, Claudia Veleizan , was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, I have fought tirelessly for my health, never stopping, always pushing forward. Through it all, I continued to work and care for my family, determined to stay strong.

Then, in 2023, tragedy struck again when my oldest son—Dante’s big brother, Tommy—was taken from us in a senseless act of violence. Tommy was an Air Force veteran, and he meant the world to us. Despite our unimaginable grief, we stood strong together, even facing the difficult sentencing process for the person responsible.

Just when we thought we had endured the worst, we received another devastating blow: I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. Now, our little family of two—just Dante and me—is facing the toughest battle yet.

I have been fighting this disease with everything I have, but the medical bills and daily expenses are piling up. Without any other family to lean on, Dante and I are doing our best to get through this. But we need help.
