Hello, I hope all is well; BP had to have their heart restarted after having palpitations for an hour straight and almost passing away. They were diagnosed with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia though the underlying cause is still unknown. We appreciate everyones support thus far but the process for getting to the underlying issues cuasing the psvt is become a long process. As well as instability with housing and reduced ability to work due to the health issues they still need help. Their work is vital, but they need support not only to organize but also to continue living. the path of an organizer as well as a marginalized black body is very stressful. Economic insecurity is one of the largest sorces of stress and stress kills. This started as a fundraiser for material and the tour, and though that is still a part of this fundraiser, the focus is now supporting their recovery. So they are not stretched as thin as they were to make ends meet. a lil bit about BP they are an artist organizer that has been on a national tour for over a year supporting communities across the nation, working with fight toxic prisons to educate folks on the fight against the prison industry and for our planet and peoples. As well as shutting down prison institutions and supporting those directly impacted. They have also been raising tens of thousands of dollars for multiple mutual aid networks and efforts and elevating on-the-ground voices through their networks and platform. During this tour, they have thoroughly depleted their resources and unfortunately, this year hasn't shaped up as well as last year financially. Their physical health had already taken a downturn due to chronic illness so physical labor is no longer a viable source of revenue, and delivery gig services are now even put to much strain on their heart due to anxiety and stress. However, this work must continue.

The funds raised will go to cover living cost, as well as replace stolen and aging equipment on its last leg, as well as to help with travel costs. The new equipment will allow them to elevate the streams and mini-docs that elevate the voices of the most marginalized and on-the-ground organizers to document the work being done across this nation and increase support for multiple essential projects.
