Hello Donors!

My name is Ms. Martinez and I am an ASB director for 9th grade students at a high school in LA County. I can't give the specific name of the high school or district so they can't find a way for the students not to receive the donations. My 48 9th grade ASB students are trying to fundraise enough money so they each can go to Disneyland Imagination Camp, as well as cover the cost for them to have snacks and a meal. Years prior, it was easier for us to fundraise by having Kona Ice come to campus as well as In-N-Out. BUT our district is becoming stricter and more involved in fundraisers and making it more difficult for our students to make money. They are saying, "In-N-Out doesn't follow the CA snack-approved rules" (even though hundreds of CA schools have In-N-Out come to their schools during lunchtime!) and say, "It is in competition with our cafeteria food." They are now questioning if we can get In n Out even though some of our middle schools just hosted them. Our district already canceled 2 times for Kona Ice to come to our campus to sell during lunch—literally just selling ICE with some flavored syrup! There are only so many times we can sell $1-$2 items by having my students sell chocolates or pretzel sticks. Plus many of my ASB students are also athletes, which means they have to fundraise and sell even more items. I work at a Title 1 school where all students get free breakfast and lunch, so a lot of these students and families can't afford to send their ASB student to Disneyland Imagination Camp and don't want to keep putting stress on the students and families to sell more fundraising items. That's where I need your help! I am going to fundraise for them and every single penny I make here at GoFundMe will go DIRECTLY to my ASB class to send them to Disney Camp! Disney Imagination Camp is important because they get to decide what course they want to take which includes: Theme Park Design, Physics of Disney Parks, Technology of Disney Parks, Leadership the Disney Way, Teamwork the Disney Way, Soundtrack Sessions, or Stage Performance.
