Support 9415 and 8101 at the Michiana Premier Event

9415 and 8101 are teaming up to go to the Michiana Premier event this summer. Our two FTC robotics teams have worked together for many years in Chanhassen, MN, and we are excited to compete together at this premier event.

At the competition, we will be able to show all of the hard work our teams have put in this season and represent Minnesota. We have had so much support from our friends, family, and community already. We are extremely grateful for your continued support!

About the competition:

GEARS is proud to present the inaugural FIRST Tech Challenge Michiana Premier Event. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 96 teams from around the world to capstone their INTO THE DEEP season. We will be following the standard robot game and judging guidelines for the competition. This multi-day event also includes evening activities to build relationships and create lasting memories. Teams will move into their pits on Thursday, June 19 and that evening participate in an Olympic style Opening Ceremony that includes custom flags for each team, National Anthems for each country represented and guest speakers.

After a full day of judging and three qualifying robot rounds, Friday evening will have a Video Game Tournament and Ice Cream Social in the Bendix ESports Arena.

On Saturday, teams will finish judging and their remaining 7 qualifying robot rounds. After alliances are selected, teams will enjoy a private concert with a super-charged technical show from an 80’s cover band that will have them dancing all night long.
