Hi, my name is Miranda and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart, asking for help during the most difficult time of our lives.

My 8-year-old son, Marcell, has recently been diagnosed with brain tumors (medulloblastoma). As you can imagine, our lives were turned upside down the moment we heard the news. We’re now facing a long road ahead filled with treatments, doctor visits, and long stays at the hospital — all while trying to hold our family together.

To make things even harder, I recently gave birth to a new baby. I’ve had to leave my job to care for my children full-time, which has caused our financial situation to spiral. I had to file for bankruptcy just to stay afloat, and now I am losing our vehicle — our only way to get Marcell to his critical appointments and treatment.

We are exhausted, emotionally and financially. I never imagined I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but I’m doing it for my son and my family.

We are asking for support to help with:

* Transportation to and from Marcell’s medical appointments

* Medical bills and treatment costs not covered by insurance

* Basic needs like groceries, diapers, and utilities

* Keeping a roof over our heads during this overwhelming time
