Help 58 Kids Stay in School – Project of Hope
Donation protected
We are Project of Hope, a non-profit organization (NGO) based in Nairobi, Kenya.
In the heart of Kawangware—one of the city’s poorest neighborhoods—we care for children who are orphaned, have disabilities, or come from families in extreme poverty. For many of them, we are not just a school, but also a home.
Right now, 58 of our children urgently need help to continue their education.
To cover their school fees for the upcoming term, we need a total of €5,000 — just €86 per child.
Indeed, although Kenya’s constitution guarantees free education, public schools still require families to pay “hidden fees”: uniforms, learning materials, meals, and other unofficial but essential costs.
For families living in poverty, these expenses create an impossible barrier to education.
The next school term begins on April 28, and without these funds, many of our children won’t be able to go back to school.
We know that from afar, this might feel like a distant problem — and that a small contribution might not seem like it can do much.
But it can. Every act of generosity, no matter how small, can change the life of a child.
If you can, please help us give them the future they deserve.

More about us:
Project of Hope is more than just an educational center — it’s a family.
We provide daily meals, care, love, and free primary education to 83 children living in our center, as well as to 42 others from the surrounding community.
The project was founded by Pastor Aswani Kizito, who grew up in deep poverty himself. As a child, he often couldn’t afford school supplies, uniforms, or even food — but thanks to the kindness of strangers, he was able to complete his education and earn a Master’s degree.
When his son Prince was born with cerebral palsy, Aswani left everything behind to focus on caring for his family and giving back.
In 2015, he founded Project of Hope, with the mission of offering other vulnerable children the same gift he once received: a chance.
Education is their key to freedom — the path to becoming empowered, independent adults who can dream and build a better tomorrow.
Every donation makes a real difference. Even from far away, your support can have a powerful impact.
