4 Corners, 1 People was created to bring Black people from across the diaspora — Africans, African Americans, Caribbean people, Afro-Latinos, and Black Europeans — into the same space for honest conversation, cultural exchange, and community building.
Our first event was organized by a small planning committee who believed this dialogue was needed. Without formal funding, we covered the cost of the venue, food, and logistics ourselves because we wanted to create a space where our community could come together, share stories, and build real connection across our differences.
The response showed us that this work matters, and we want to continue hosting future gatherings.
We are raising funds to support the next 4 Corners, 1 People event and keep this space accessible for the community. Donations will help cover venue costs, food, materials, and future programming.
This project is community-powered, and any support helps us continue building spaces rooted in conversation, culture, and solidarity.
We may come from different corners of the world, but we are still one people.
