Burial & Support 4 The Family Of Sylvester Azasoo
With great sadness and heartbreak we announce the sudden passing of our friend, brother and colleague Sylvester Kofi Selorm Azasoo which happened on April 24, 2021 in Ethiopia.
Over the last 10 years, Selorm spent his life volunteering on different causes particularly youth leadership development through his work at AIESEC; an international youth-led organisation. He started as a local chapter member with AIESEC in Ghana (CUCG chapter) and had a meteoric rise which took him around the World speaking, training and participating in conferences and volunteer projects.
In 2019, he ended his 8 year AIESEC experience transitioning from his role as a member of the Global Steering Team and the National Coordinator for AIESEC in Ethiopia.
His thirst for service and volunteering did not end after AIESEC. He applied for and got selected to be part of the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps. He had completed training and was awaiting to be deployed when he met his untimely death.
Selorm has left his family and friends completely devastated and this fund is being put together by his colleagues from AIESEC to raise funds to support the family cover the huge costs associated with his final funeral rites and burial. This fundraiser has been approved by the family and would go directly into covering the costs stated above.
Selorm’s demise is extremely painful to reconcile but we need to support and stand with the family in these trying times. No amount is little.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
Thank you for supporting and kindly reach out to us if you have any enquiries.
