Hi, everyone! I’m a 3rd-grade teacher with 32 wonderful students who are eager to learn, explore, and grow. Every year, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. However, classrooms always have evolving needs, from essential supplies to exciting field trips that help make learning come alive.
The school that I work at is a Title One school. We are under-enrolled, under-staffed, and short of many necessities (everything from tissues to pencils), and there are no available funds for the extras that make elementary school so fun! I want to give these kids as much "extra" as I can - they deserve it - and I can only pay for so much out of my own pocket.
This year, I’m seeking your support to ensure my students have access to the resources and experiences that will enrich their education and improve their overall well-being. Your contributions will help provide:
- Supplies for day-to-day learning.
- Class sets of books to encourage a love of reading.
- Home libraries for students to build their personal book collections.
- Subscriptions to educational websites and magazines.
- Experiences like field trips to museums, zoos, and art exhibits.
- General classroom improvements that enhance learning and life skills for students.
