Support 2nd Chance Ministry
Aldo and Brenda Guzman, with the support and assistance of several influential and caring members of the Central Florida community, are proud to announce that they have founded a new program dedicated to the treatment of those suffering from the disease called addiction!
Aldo, having been involved in the treatment/recovery arena since 1998, saw an opportunity to start his vision of what a therapeutic community should be. Through the years he has been a mentor, therapeutic guide and a true leader who has provided a living example that rehabilitation is achievable to many men and women including our current residents who have followed him to 2nd chance in support of his vision.
His wife Brenda, who is our Pastor, has been around the world of addiction from a young age. At 12 years old, she received a calling to deliver the word of God to the public. She is Aldo's business partner, our spiritual guide and provides loving care for all of our residents.
2nd Chance Ministry is a Christian faith based 12 month residential therapeutic community where residents benefit from fellowship and interaction with others who have progressed in treatment while learning the tools necessary to fight there addictions. As a spiritual and psychotherapeutic environment, we learn to function in society free of drugs and alcohol. We believe that there is opportunity for everyone who seeks change and we are dedicated to improving the lives of each and every one of our residents!
2nd Chance ministry is a 501 C-3 certified non-profit organization which provides subsidization (tax write-offs) to its donors. We hope to fund the ministry in order to provide new residents with necessities, facility maintenance, transportation and other general expenses, including expansion, to move our mission forward and continue to help those who are in need of it's services.
