Support 2 Mt Lebanon PA Teams Headed to Odyssey World Finals

Wow! Two Mt Lebanon (MtL) School teams have been invited to the prestigious Odyssey of the Mind (OM) World Tournament. Scheduled to take place at Iowa State University from May 21st to May 24th, 2024, this multi-day event brings together some of the brightest young minds from countries including the US, Canada, China, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, and Uzbekistan in a celebration of creativity and problem-solving prowess. Thirteen youths from MtL High School and Mellon Middle School have earned this fantastic achievement in 2024.

Some of these young competitors have been participating in OM for nearly a decade, dreaming of advancing to the highest levels one day. The youth on both teams have spent countless hours this year alone, developing creative solutions to their problems and aspiring to Worlds. They successfully competed against approximately 120 teams from Western PA and 180 teams at the PA State tournament to earn a place at the World Finals.
