Support 1-Year-Old Remy on His Journey Through Neuroblastoma

Valerie created this fundraiser to help Kaitlin Yuill, the mother of Remy, to pay for Remy's medical expenses.

Remy just turned 1 in April which is a time that should be filled with first steps and joyful memories. Instead, his family received heartbreaking news as Remy has been diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma, a rare and serious childhood cancer.

He has already started chemotherapy and has been incredibly brave through a number of intense medical procedures, including Biopsy of his tumor, pet scan, blood tests, bone marrow tests, two MRIs, kidney scans, and the placement of a central line and NG feeding tube.

Doctors discovered a large tumor in Remy’s stomach, measuring approximately 10cm x 11cm, and scans show it has now spread reaching areas in his bones around his eyes, pelvis, skull bone, tibia, femurs and 5% has spread to his bone marrow. The journey ahead is intense and will be challenging, Remy will have to undergo many different treatments including high dose of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Despite everything, Remy continues to amaze everyone with his resilience and sweet spirit.

His family is doing everything they can to support him, but the journey ahead is long and full of challenges—both emotional and financial.
